Wendy is a bilingual (Spanish-Speaking) School Psychologist. She obtained her Bachelors Degree in Human Development with a minor in Child Development from the California State University of Long Beach.

Wendy spent a few years teaching abroad before obtaining a Masters degree in School Psychology with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Cal State University, Los Angeles. As a School Psychologist Wendy has worked in districts with a variety of social and economically diverse communities.  She has experience working with students of all ages and grade levels. As a School Psychologist in her district, Wendy works within the Family Resource Center to help connect families in low-income communities to outside resources. She provides social emotional support to students within her district with the highest needs. Wendy has also helped create district wide guidelines to meet the Social Emotional Learning (SEL) needs of students and staff. When working with students and families Wendy always takes a compassionate and caring approach.
